August 2005 Leatherhead purchase for Bournelodge: Bournelodge has acquired The Bilton Centre in Leatherhead which was developed in the 1980's and comprises 45,000 sq ft of business space in four buildings on a site of 4 acres. One building is let and with rental guarantees on two others the price of £5 million reflects a net initial yield of 6%. Bournelodge plans to let two of the buildings short term before obtaining planning permission to demolish part of the estate and construct a range of two storey and single storey business and industrial units for sale to owner occupiers. The development will be carried out in joint venture with Frogmore Property Company.
