February 2009 Planning granted at Leatherhead Bournelodge Developments has secured detailed planning permission for a further phase at its Axis scheme in Cleeve Road in Leatherhead. Terms have been agreed with Duplo International Ltd, currently based in Esher, for the sale of an existing office building on the Estate. The building will be refurbished and a new warehouse extension constructed to provide Duplo with a new UK headquarters complex. The office building comprises 9,500 sq ft and the new warehouse extension will total 15,672 sq ft. Construction work is due to start in early summer and should be completed by January 2010.
