February 2010 Sunshine breaks through the gloom in Leatherhead Bournelodge has sold or let 90% of its 17,700 sq ft phase of small office units at The Axis Centre in Leatherhead leaving only one unit now remaining. The Axis Centre also includes three existing office buildings each comprising 10,000 sq ft. Two buildings were sold as investments in 2008 and the third building was sold last month to Glass & Mirror, a local Leatherhead company for £925,000 which equates to £92.50 per sq ft. Glass & Mirror are part of a larger group and plan to implement an earlier planning permission obtained by Bournelodge involving the construction of a 15,000 sq ft warehouse extension. The last remaining unit in the phase of small offices is 1,400 sq ft - Hurst Warne and Bonsor Penningtons are joint agents.
