July 2008 Leatherhead sale Bournelodge Developments has sold part of its scheme known as The Axis Centre in Cleeve Road Leatherhead to a local private investor. The two office buildings included in the sale each comprises 10,000 sq ft and are leased to Carillion plc and Carters Contract Flooring UK. Bournelodge has also agreed terms with a major Surrey based international company on a 10,000 sq ft office building, subject to the grant of planning permission to construct a 15,000 sq ft warehouse extension to house the company’s UK headquarters. Construction works are due to start in early 2009. Bournelodge has redeveloped the remainder of the estate and constructed 10 small office units for sale and of these, three are sold, two are under offer leaving five available for immediate occupation either for sale or to let.
